VIM is a tool for researching multiple sky positions simultaneously. Each source becomes a row in a table, with catalog, image cutouts, and spectral information. You can start using VIM in four ways:
Paste comma-separated text (RA, Dec, ID) under Load Sky Positions / from Text
Copy the URL for an example table, then do Load Sky Positions / from link to VOTable
View the example workbenches. Sort by clicking the column headers, hover the mouse over the cutouts and spectra to see full size.
Go to HEASARC
or Vizier to create a subset of a published
catalog, save as VOTable, then use Load Sky Positions / from local VOTable
